ABOUT MARIJAN
GROBBINK
Marijan Grobbink is a registered psychotherapist, art therapist and art-maker. She earned an Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies (Individual Counselling) from St. Paul University, Ottawa and a post graduate Diploma in Art Therapy from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. Her experience includes work with children, adolescents and adults dealing with a variety of issues including grief, bereavement, separation and divorce, trauma, attachment and life transitions.
Marijan has also completed extensive training in the Hakomi method, a mindfulness-based, body-centered approach to counselling. She believes that creativity and art-making can open us up to new possibilities, deeper self-knowledge, and re-connect us to feelings of aliveness and hope. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a Registered Canadian Art Therapist.
